Fact is, the worst economic behavior a person can do to a child, is have it raised by a struggling single mother. Over 80% of African-American children are born out of wedlock…thus damning them to financial hardship. This is a cultural behavior. It is the chief cause of economic plight. Such generationally deepens when cobbled together with school drop out rates. BUT, let’s ignore responsibility and behavior consequence in the black community. Having spent some time in the Philadelphia prison system (as an inmate), it is clear to me that the greatest cause of crime and poverty, especially among blacks, is the lack of a stable family unit with a strong father role model. It is the failure of the fathers that causes so many breakdowns in moral character in young men. Many blacks grow up in fatherless homes, and until this situation is reversed, crime will continue to be a major problem.
As for poverty and the so-called “privileged” whites…We are all fortunate to live in the U.S., a nation which has brought hundreds millions of people out of poverty within its borders and hundreds of millions more who have mimicked our capitalist system around the world. We have a lot to be thankful for, just growing up in the U.S. as opposed to Africa or South America, and even most of Asia, is a privilege. The opportunity to live a moral, happy, and successful life is nowhere more prevalent than here.

Last week in Holt, Alabama, two blacks murdered a white man in an attempted car jacking. They stabbed him and slit his throat, leaving him dead in his truck. If two whites, er European-Americans had done this to a black, er, an African-American, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be raising hell about RACISM and demanding that the suspects be charged with a hate crime. With all of the blacks murdering white victims, why aren’t “hate crimes” commited when a blacks murder white people? Do hate crimes only occur when the victim is black or simply has the N-word written on something they own? Please explain this.
